Masters in International Legal Practice from the Instituto de Empresa (IE) in Spain, Diploma in Higher Education, representative for the Dominican Republic in “Cartajoven 2010”, Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, Global Foundation for Development (FUNGLODE) Fellow, Carolina Foundation Fellow (Madrid, Spain), Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology Fellow, Award of Merit Pedro Henríquez Ureña for Academic Excellence 2002 and 2003, honor student distinction by the Supreme Court of Justice, Salomé Ureña Merit Award for Educational Excellence.
Has concentrated her practice in corporate and commercial law, contracts and international transactions.
Worked for the law firm Castillo & Castillo within the Department of Contracts, Commercial and Foreign Investment, as well as for the firm León & Raful and as an associate attorney for Álvarez & Almonte. Since 2012, she is an associate of the boutique service law firm J Adames & Asociados.
She has served as lecturer at the seminar in Commercial and International Law at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), Advisor to the Department of International Students of PUCMM, President and Founding Member of the Red Carolina, Dominican Republic, Board Member of the Fundación Voz de Vida, has participated in the Annual Willem C. VIS International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
Dr. León was a coordinator of the Phillip Jessup Moot Court Competition, Member of the Latin American Council of International and Comparative Law (COLADIC).
